When Hollyweirds first appeared on MTV in 2014, she had a big fan base thanks to her quirky persona and a series of guest appearances that earned her a fan following.
But by 2019, the singer had been ousted from the pop star throne due to allegations of domestic abuse and was fired from her record label.
Now, as she gears up to release her sophomore album, Hollyweights newest single “Gotta Go,” the singer has revealed her relationship with her former manager.
Hollyweilers former manager, Steve Bell, released a statement in which he claimed he had been forced out of the business by Hollyweeks former label, Epic Records due to the singer’s “unacceptable behavior.”
“Unfortunately, the circumstances surrounding the firing of Hollywelds manager, as well as Hollywelder’s behavior, have resulted in my having to step away from the label,” Bell said.
“I have to say this: I love Hollyweilds fans.
They are the reason I am here.
I love them, and I would not have done this if I had any doubt about the trust they placed in me.”
Hollyweiler is scheduled to perform on the 2017 U.K. tour with her band, the xx, on March 19.
