Lulu’s has announced a consignment store in India will open in December after being closed for more than six months due to the ongoing unrest in the country.
The store will be the first consignment shop in India and the first of its kind in Asia, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Lulu’s was shut down on April 2, 2018, for the third time in less than six years due to protests over alleged corruption and alleged police brutality.LULU’s, a popular department store chain in India, said it was closed due to lack of suitable spaces.
It is not known whether the store will reopen.
